Engine Oil Level Low
The oil level is below the minimum — top up soon before it becomes a pressure problem.
What it means
A level sensor in the sump has detected oil below the safe minimum. This is an earlier warning than the red oil pressure light: the engine still has oil pressure, but the margin is gone. Running chronically low accelerates wear and risks the far more serious pressure loss.

Yes, gently and briefly — drive to where you can top up. If the red oil pressure light also comes on, stop immediately.
